Oh, Mary! is now playing at Trafalgar Theatre, with Mason Alexander Park starring in the comedy alongside Kate O’Donnell, Oliver Stockley, Dino Fetscher and Giles Terera.
A dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, this 80-minute one-act play is full of unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires and finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot (playwright Cole Escola).
Park plays Mary Todd Lincoln, with O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone, Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher and Terera as Mary’s Husband.



Directed by Sam Pinkleton, the West End production’s creative team includes includes dots (scenic designer), Holly Pierson (costume designer), Cha See (lighting designer), Daniel Kluger (sound design and music), Drew Levy (sound designer) and Leah J Loukas (wig designer), David Dabbon (arrangements), with casting by Stuart Burt.
