Lauren Lyle and Alexander Arnold are now in rehearsals for David Ireland’s one act comedy Most Favoured, which will play a strictly limited season at Soho Theatre this Christmas.

Mary’s been sleeping with strangers across Scotland for eight months. Tonight’s conquest: Mike, an American tourist who’s never heard of KFC.

After the best sex of her life, she tells him what she’s been hiding.

Then he tells her what he’s been hiding.

The production will be directed by Max Elton. The creative set & costume designer Ceci Calf, lighting designer Amy Daniels and sound designer Marcus Rice. It is produced by Sarah Roy of 19th Street Productions and María Inés Olmedo of María Inés Olmedo Projects in association with Soho Theatre.

The show will have its first preview on December 11 and run until January 24, 2026. Tickets here.
