New Diorama Theatre will stage electro-folk musical Precipice in November, a futuristic story of crisis, humanity and hope at the edge of disaster.

From creator and director Adam Lenson, the ensemble cast features Max Alexander-Taylor as Biscuits, Holly Freeman as Emily, Isabella Marshall as Maggie, Melinda Orengo as Piper and Eric Stroud as Ash.

Centuries apart, the residents of a towering high-rise arrive at a crossroads, taking shelter along the riverbank in Greenwich – the place where time begins and the world ends. In the near present, a biomedical emergency drives a young couple to confront their own complicity in the face of impending catastrophe.

Four hundred years from now, those who remain celebrate their survival, while long buried truths threaten to unravel their carefully constructed way of life.

Described as the bold debut production from “boundary-blurring” new company Timelapse, Precipice brings together a team of six writers including Stu Barter (Talkshow), Rachel Bellman (These Demons), Darren Clark (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Annabelle Lee Revak (Windsong), Shaye Poulton Richards (Lies All The Way Down) and Lenson (Cable Street).

The creative team includes designer Libby Todd, lighting designer Ben Jacobs, sound designer Mike Thacker for Orbital and producer Lia Buddle.

Precipice runs at New Diorama Theatre from November 11 – December 13, 2025. Tickets here.
