TikTok star and actor Maddie Grace Jepson will take to the stage in Back to the Future The Musical, taking up the role of Lorraine Baines this August.

Jepson will join the Adelphi Theatre production from Wednesday, August 13, marking her West End and professional stage debut.

She will star alongside the previously announced Brian Conley as Doctor Emmett Brown, who joins the production for a strictly limited 12-week run.

Cory English will return to the role of Doctor Emmett Brown from Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Marty McFly is a rock ‘n’ roll teenager who is accidentally transported back to 1955 in a time-travelling DeLorean invented by his friend, Dr Emmett Brown.  But before he can return to 1985, Marty must make sure his high school-aged parents fall in love in order to save his own existence.

The production currently stars Caden Brauch as Marty McFly, Cory English as Doctor Emmett Brown, Sarah Goggin as Lorraine Baines, Orlando Gibbs as George McFly, C.J. Borger as Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry, Alex Runicles as Biff Tannen, Talia Palamathanan as Jennifer Parker, Lee Ormsby as Strickland and alternate Doctor Emmett Brown, Liam McHugh as Dave McFly, Patricia Wilkins as Linda McFly, and Ellis Kirk as alternate Marty McFly.

The cast is completed by Kofi Aidoo-Appiah, Billie Bowman, Ella Beaumont, Gracie Caine, Charlotte Coggin, Lauren Dawes, Alexander Day, Helen Gulston, Matthew Ives, Connor Lewis, Adam Margilewski, Bryan Mottram, Anna Murray, Samuel Nicholas, Louis Quinn, Zachkiel Smith and Grace Swaby-Moore.

The show enters its fifth year in London from September 13, 2025. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the original movie, which was released in the US on July 3, 1985.

Based on the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment film, BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical has a book by Bob Gale and new music and lyrics by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, with additional songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B Goode.

Back to the Future The Musical is directed by John Rando (Urinetown, On The Town), alongside the design team of Tim Hatley (set and costume design), Tim Lutkin (lighting), Hugh Vanstone (lighting consultant), Gareth Owen (sound) and Finn Ross (video), with choreography by Chris Bailey, musical supervision and arrangements by Nick Finlow and illusions by Chris Fisher. Orchestrations are by Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook, with dance arrangements by David Chase. Casting is by David Grindrod for Grindrod Burton Casting.
