Charles Court Opera is bringing Gilbert & Sullivan’s Patience to Wilton’s Music Hall this September.
A “delicious satire” on artistic movements, hero-worship and meaningless fads, Patience features biting humour, over the top characters and toe-tapping music.
Directed by John Savournin, musically directed by David Eaton and designed by Simon Bejer, the cast is led by Catriona Hewitson in the title role alongside a host of CCO regulars including Matthew Kellett (Bunthorne), Matthew Siveter (Grosvenor), Catrine Kirkman (Lady Jane), Meriel Cunningham (Lady Angela), Jennie Jacobs (Lady Saphir), Matthew Palmer (Colonel), David Menezes (Duke) and Dominic Bowe (Major).
