Yerin Ha, Phia Saban and Lydia Wilson will star in Jean Genet’s The Maids, coming to the Donmar Warehouse this October.

With their mistress away, two maids act out their darkest fantasies as they obsessively role-play her murder, until performance and reality begin to blur.

A new translation of Genet’s work written and directed by Kip Williams, it marks Williams’ debut at the Donmar following his reimagining of The Picture of Dorian Gray and ahead of his adaptation of Dracula, with Cynthia Erivo playing all 23 roles, at the Noël Coward Theatre next year.

The set designer is Rosanna Vize, with costume designer Marg Horwell, lighting designer Jon Clark, sound designer Dan Balfour, composer DJ Walde and video designer Zakk Hein.

The Maids comes to the Donmar Warehouse from October 13 – November 29, 2025. Tickets here.
