Clueless The Musical will end its run at London’s Trafalgar Theatre this August ahead of a UK tour that will begin in 2026.
Based on the Paramount Pictures film, inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma, the production transports audiences to 1990s Beverly Hills, where Cher Horowitz has a heart bigger than her allowance and a unique talent of finding love for others. When awkward new girl Tai arrives in town, Cher takes on her biggest project yet – but is she matchmaking or meddling? And what about her annoying ex-stepbrother Josh who she can’t stop thinking about? Suddenly, Cher’s life isn’t quite so perfect and – ugh! – maybe she’s the one being clueless.
The show stars Emma Flynn as Cher, with Keelan McAuley, Chyna-Rose Frederick, Romona Lewis-Malley, Rabi Kondé, and Isaac J Lewis also among the cast.
Adapted for the stage by original Clueless writer-director Amy Heckerling, with new music by KT Tunstall and lyrics by Glenn Slater, it is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh and choreographed by Lizzi Gee.
It is produced by The Dodgers and Trafalgar Entertainment.
Clueless The Musical will close at the Trafalgar Theatre on Saturday, August 23. A UK tour begins in Bromley in September 2026, with plans to take the show to Mexico City, Australia, Japan and Europe.
