Georgina Castle and Josh St Clair lead the cast of new London musical 50 First Dates, which is now in rehearsals ahead of its premiere at The Other Palace this month.
He’s falling for her every day — she’s forgetting him every night. When notorious bachelor Henry meets art teacher Lucy, he thinks he’s finally found “the one”. Until the next morning when she wakes up with no memory of their first date…
Castle plays Lucy Whitmore, an artist with short-term memory loss, and St Clair is Henry Roth, the commitment-phobe who falls in love with her, in the lead roles made famous by Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in the 2004 romantic comedy film of the same name.
They are joined by Georgia Arron as Sharon, Aizaac Aruna as Miles/Ensemble, Zoë Ann Bown as Miriam, Emily Olive Boyd as Fran, Greg Stylianou Burns as Ensemble, Cole Dunn as Swing, Samuelle Durojaiye as Swing, Paul Kemble as Swing, John Marquez as Marlin Whitmore, Natasha O’Brien as Delilah, Aiesha Naomi Pease as Ukulele Sue, David Pendlebury as Sid, Martha Pothen as Cora, Ricky Rojas as Marco, Chad Saint Louis as Sandy, Samantha Thomas as Swing and Charlie Toland as Doug Whitmore.




Based upon the Columbia Pictures Motion Picture, with screenplay by George Wing, 50 First Dates: The Musical has book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen and is directed by Casey Nicholaw (Hercules, Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon).
The production has set & costume design by Fly Davis, lighting design by Aideen Malone, projection design by George Reeve, sound design by Adam Fisher, wig, hair & make-up design by Cynthia De La Rosa, orchestrations and arrangements by Matthew Jackson and musical supervision & musical director is Richard Beadle (Hamilton). The casting director is Natalie Gallacher for Natalie Gallacher and Pippa Ailion Casting. It is produced by ATG Productions, Bad Robot Live and Gavin Kalin Productions.
